Top 5 Reasons to Register for an Upcoming Fundamentals of Titanium Workshop

ITA recently surveyed workshop participants, asking them for the Top 5 Reasons they invested their time by taking Fundamentals of Titanium….Here is what they said:

1) Value.
You cannot beat the value of this 1-day course.  For a small registration fee, anyone interested in the titanium industry will receive a historical overview; comparisons with other metals; in-depth sessions on safety, corrosion, heat treating, mechanical properties and more.  One student said “The online study guide was the best part…it allowed me to go back and revisit certain sections I had questions on.”

2) Convenience.
With the explosion of technology comes accessibility of information.  You no longer have to attend an in-person workshop to engage in continuing education.  The online course is offered in 5 different languages and designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn at their convenience over 16 weeks.

The in-person Fundamentals of Titanium workshops are offered everywhere in Europe (English or German languages) and throughout the US.  Private workshops are also available and very affordable.

3) Keep Skills Sharp.
Fundamentals will provide a wealth of information from qualified instructors who have dedicated their careers to the industry.  “I attend the workshop every 3 to 4 years…” one student wrote…”I learn something new every time I attend the lecture and I really enjoy the dialogue throughout the day.”  By participating in Fundamentals, you could become more valuable to your employer.

4) Networking Opportunities.
ITA strives in the exchange of ideas.  ITA instructors encourage discussion throughout the day and by networking at the event, it is likely there will be those who have already experienced what you have. This provides you with an opportunity to learn and avoid some of the common pitfalls they might have experienced.  Whether coming from sales or the technical side, building relationships by exchanging contact information at ITA events is a smart thing to do for your future career in the titanium industry.

5) Become More Marketable.
Today's manufacturing environment is generating challenging new employment opportunities for individuals who understand the growing competitive pressures that businesses face in the global economy.  By attending Fundamentals, you have the exclusive opportunity to build your reputation as a knowledgeable, reliable and supportive professional in the titanium industry.

According to the "Leadership & Organization Development Journal," a focus on company-sponsored training, workshops and seminars for continuing education, is typical of successful small manufacturing companies.  Comprehensive training not only helps employees do their jobs better, but leads to overall higher productivity and improved employee morale.

Members & Non Members are invited to attend the events but advanced registration is highly recommended.  ITA Members are provided substantial discounts.
